Auditions

Thank you for your interest in auditioning for Sound Fuzion at the University of Memphis on Tuesday, April 15, 2008.

We’d like to give you some helpful information regarding our audition process.

1.We will give you a specific time for your audition. We will contact you by April 3rd with your assigned audition time. Please make every effort to make the assigned time. You MUST confirm via voicemail or email your acceptance of the assigned audition time. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete an audition information sheet or preferably, you may print out the Audition Form, fill it out, and bring it with you to the Audition. 2.Sound Fuzion is an eclectic ensemble. Our uniqueness is in the diversity of our music and our performers. We strive to perform in all “popular” genres. We understand that you probably have a specialty. Please come to your audition prepared to perform the selection that best demonstrates to us your talents.

3.Singers will be asked to perform only one selection. We will have a CD player available for those wanting to use an accompaniment track. We can also play piano for you from sheet music you provide. Please make sure the music you give us is in the correct key.

4.Instrumentalists will be asked to demonstrate abilities and understanding of several musical styles. Please come with preplanned audition pieces.

5.You will be notified via email by midnight on April 15th, weather you have been invited to the recall auditions on Thursday evening April 16th.
